This course is open to all HDP member dentists and their team members.

Course Aims

The aim of the course is to comply with GDC requirements and provide recommended verifiable CPD for the participants. It will cover many of the key points of IRMER 2017 and IRR17,  increasing the confidence of Dentists and radiographically qualified  Dental Care Professionals when taking dental radiographs and updating their knowledge of factors relating to quality assurance and dose limitation to patients and staff  in dental radiography . For dental nurses and non radiographically qualified dental care professionals, in relation to IRMER17, it will clarify the roles and duties of the dental team. This is a practical approach to IR(ME)R regulations and quality assurance in dental radiography. It will cover many of the key points of radiation protection, quality assurance and dose limitation to patients and staff.
