Professor John Gibson and The Canmore Trust

Last week member dentists from HDP lent their support to Professor John Gibson and his charity The Canmore Trust.

The Canmore Trust aims to create safe spaces for those affected by suicide and Professor Gibson has been trekking from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise both money and awareness for the charity. 

Members not only joined him on his walk when he reached in and around Inverness but also convened at the Waterside Hotel on the evening of Friday August 19th to listen to a presentation he had prepared on suicide awareness - a subject deeply personal to his family.

Highland Dental Plan we’re only too keen to support Professor Gibson in donating £500 to this worthy cause. We wish him all the best with the remainder of his walk and indeed any future endeavours.
