CPD -Perio-Implant Interface: Where are we now?

This lecture is for dentists, dental hygienists and therapists. At the end of this educational session the attendee will:

• be able to critically assess the prevailing oral/periodontal status which will determine whether a patient is a good candidate for dental implant treatment.
• know how to advise, manage and support patients who are due for implant treatment
• be able to assess patients and decipher between peri-implant disease and peri-implant soft tissue abnormalities and how to prevent and manage these
• know how to restore dental implants such that the integrity of the periodontal-implant interface is respected

This CPD course meets the criteria for the GDC's development outcome C
